Brief History on the "30T2"
In the 1940s, Omega manufactured a small batch of 35mm (considered oversized/ jumbo at that time). Although watches powered by the 30T2 were primarily civilian timepieces, both the US and UK militaries issued service timepieces outfitted with the same movement.
This watch we have here is absent of the military markers on its caseback and thus, is quite likely its civilian marketed equivalent. However, with the same steel case and movement at heart and a nearly identical dial configuration, this watch is definitely worth a keep.
