Dial: Rare Original Rolex Silver Sigma dial with Wide Boy hour markers

What is a sigma dial?

It is a dial characterised with white-gold hands & hour markers. It is signified by two tiny Greek lowercase sigmas that sits on the 6 hour mark.

These were used as Aprior marks by the Association pour la Promotion Industrielle de l’Or, a gold industry trade association. This timepiece is also unique that it has hour markers & hands that are slightly wider than its peers, giving it a name 'Wide Boy' by collectors.
